Overview

This document explains the information collected by IIQE from you, how it is used and our legal basis for doing so. It also covers whether and how that information may be shared and your rights and choices regarding the information you provide to us.

By using the services offered by IIQE, you are acknowledging that you have agreed to our Terms and Conditions of Use, and that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

SECTION 1 - INFORMATION AND DATA PROCESSING PRACTICES

IIQE collects information from you when you register on our site. By submitting your personal information, you are agreeing that IIQE may collect, store, use, disclose and destroy it in accordance with this policy.

Protecting your private information is our priority. This Privacy Policy applies to the Alquran Test Encyclopaedia website (Alqurantest).

SECTION 2 - COLLECTED INFORMATION

IIQE collects personally identifiable information, such as your name, email address, country of residence and credit or debit information should you become a registered user. You may, however, visit our site anonymously without being able to utilise our service. Collected information may include:

  1. Information you provide by registering on Alqurantest, your name, email address, country of residence, login name and password details. We may ask for this information if you register as a user of Alqurantest, or if you contact us;
  2. Details of any requests or transactions you make through Alqurantest, IIQE partners with other companies (such as PayPal) for payment processing, and the payment information you submit is collected and used by them in accordance with their privacy policies;
  3. Information about your activity on and interaction with Alqurantest, such as your IP address, the type of device or browser you use;
  4. Information about the ways in which people visit and interact with Alqurantest, in the form of traffic analytics;
  5. Communications you send to us (for example, when you ask for support, send us questions or comments, or report a problem);
  6. Information about your computer hardware and software. This may be automatically collected by Alqurantest. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, maintenance of the quality of the service, and to provide general statistics on the usage of Alqurantest.

IIQE encourages you to review the privacy statements of websites you choose to link to from Alqurantest so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your information. Alqurantest is not responsible for the privacy statements or other content on websites outside of the Alqurantest website.

SECTION 3 – USE OF COLLECTED INFORMATION

IIQE uses the information provided for the following purposes:

  1. To process transactions related to your Alqurantest registration.
  2. To keep your account secure and protect our services.
  3. To send periodic emails
  4. To enable us to provide you with our services and to improve and promote our services.
  5. To create and administer your account and contact you.
  6. To track and analyse usage of our services so that we can improve how Alqurantest is performing and provide users with the best experience possible.
  7. The email address you provide for registration may be used to send updates pertaining to your subscription, in addition to sending occasional news and updates relating to our services.
  8. Alqurantest may also contact you via surveys for your opinion of current or proposed services.

IIQE will not sell, exchange, transfer or give another company or organisation, for any reason whatsoever, any of your information, whether public or private, without your prior consent. IIQE does not sell, rent or lease its subscriber lists to third parties.

SECTION 4 – SHARING OF COLLECTED INFORMATION

Information that is shared publicly:

When you create an account, we create a basic profile for you on Alqurantest containing your username. Your information may be shared with certain trusted third-party services such as PayPal when processing your payment. When this happens, we require that they use your information only for the purpose we have authorised. We may also share information that is aggregated and anonymised in a way that does not directly identify you.

Information that is not shared publicly:

  1. Any payment information you provide;
  2. Your password details;
  3. Your IP addresses
  4. Communications you send to us.

Information that is shared to protect Alqurantest and comply with the law:

We reserve the right to disclose personal information when we believe that doing so is reasonably necessary to comply with the law, to prevent fraud or abuse, or protect IIQE’s legal rights or property or the safety of IIQE employees, users, or others.

Link to other websites and services:

The Alqurantest site may include links to other websites or services whose privacy practices may differ from those of Alqurantest. When you use a link to an external site or service, the privacy policy and data processing disclosures for that site or service apply to you.

SECTION 5 – USE OF COOKIES

Alqurantest employs the use of “cookies” to help you personalise your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programmes or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you.

One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you registered to subscribe to Alqurantest, a cookie helps Alqurantest to recall your specific information on subsequent visits.

You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify browser settings to decline cookies if you wish. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to experience the full features of Alqurantest services.

SECTION 6 - RETENTION

We will retain your information as long as your account is active, as necessary to provide you with the services or as otherwise set forth in this policy. We will also retain and use this information as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy and to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and protect IIQE’ legal rights.

We also collect and maintain aggregated, anonymised or pseudonymised information which we may retain indefinitely to protect the safety and security of our site, improve our services and comply with legal obligations.

SECTION 7 – DATA TRANSFERS

As IIQE is an Australian-based organisation, your information will be collected and processed in Australia. Australia has its own laws governing data protection and government access to information. The rules that protect your personal information under Australian law may differ from those in your home country. If you choose to use our services, you must agree to our Terms and Condition of Use, which outline the contract between IIQE and its users.

SECTION 8 – YOUR RIGHTS

IIQE users can manage their personal information by modifying or deleting it. To do so, users are required to log in and update their profiles. We may retain certain information as required by law or as necessary for our legitimate business purposes. You may request for your account to be deleted by emailing info@alqurantest.com.

SECTION 9 – EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS

We want to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. We will send you emails relating to your transactions on Alqurantest. We will also set you service-related announcements when it is necessary to do so.

SECTION 10 - SECURITY

IIQE secures your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. We take the security of your personal data seriously. We follow industry standard practices to protect data we collect and maintain including using Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt information as it travels over the internet. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so IIQE cannot guarantee its absolute security. We accept any password you suggest to protect your account information, though we urge you to choose one very carefully and keep it secure.

SECTION 11 - CHILDREN

Persons under 18 (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) are not permitted to use Alqurantest on their own. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@alqurantest.com. Any personally identifiable information provided by underage persons will be deleted.

SECTION 12 – OPTING-OUT & UNSUBSCRIBING

We respect your privacy and give you an opportunity to opt-out of receiving announcements.

SECTION 13 – CHANGES OF THIS STATEMENT

IIQE will occasionally update this statement of privacy to reflect organisation’s and client’s feedback. IIQE encourages you to periodically review this statement to be informed of how IIQE is protecting your information.
